Nigerian street-pop sensation Habeeb Badmus, known as Portable, secured a triumphant win in the celebrity boxing match against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha after the fourth round concluded on Wednesday.
The highly-anticipated bout, officially sanctioned by Heritage Boxing Entertainment, took place at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos State. Commencing past 1 am, the electrifying match extended for approximately 40 intense minutes.
The showdown marked the resolution of disputes between the two personalities, Portable and Okocha, who resorted to settling their grievances with a physical confrontation. The altercation stemmed from alleged contractual discrepancies amounting to an alleged N40 million dispute.Portable accused Okocha of misleading him regarding financial terms, alleging that he had been shortchanged, receiving only a fraction of the agreed-upon sum.
In a hard-fought battle, Portable emerged victorious, claiming the championship belt and solidifying his status as the deserving winner of the arduous contest.
