Azeez Ololade Ijaduade, a well-known Nigerian actor, movie director, and producer, has reportedly sustained gunshot wounds from an incident involving a trigger-happy policeman in Iperu, Ogun State. Currently, he is undergoing critical treatment at the Babcock University Teaching Hospital, fighting for his life.
The distressing news surfaced through a late-night Instagram story posted by Ijaduade's colleague, Abiodun Adebanjo, under the handle @iamabiodunadebanjo. Adebanjo's urgent message highlighted the severity of the situation, pleading for assistance in Iperu following the shooting involving a Nigeria Police personnel.
The Instagram post, captioned with a call for help and identifying Ijaduade's Instagram handle, @kingzeez1, implored individuals with connections to the Police IG or Commissioner to intervene and aid in the matter.
While the circumstances surrounding the incident remain vague, attempts to contact the Ogun State Police PPRO, Omolola Odutola, for further information were unsuccessful in the early hours of Sunday.
