Nigerian street-pop sensation, Habeeb Badmus, widely known as Portable, and Nollywood actor Charles Okocha engaged in a heated altercation during their pre-fight conference at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos State, ahead of their upcoming celebrity boxing match scheduled for December 26.

The feud between the singer and actor stemmed from an alleged financial dispute involving a purported N40 million disagreement. Portable accused Okocha of swindling him out of the money, escalating their conflict to a physical resolution in the boxing ring, officially sanctioned by Heritage Boxing Entertainment (HBE).

Tensions ran high during the press conference as both entertainers exchanged verbal jabs, hurling insults and threats. Portable asserted his claim to the HBE belt, confidently stating his intention to secure victory through his fists.

"The belt is rightfully mine. I'll beat him, using punches, not words," Portable declared, challenging Okocha while emphasizing his readiness for the showdown.

In response, Okocha vowed to knock out the 'Zazu' crooner, dismissing Portable's talk and accusing him of ingratitude, claiming he had facilitated an opportunity for the singer, who was now seeking monetary compensation.

The pre-fight fervor escalated when Portable generously sprayed cash to fans post-conference, triggering a frenzy among onlookers eager to witness the spectacle.

WBC continental champion, Abimbola Osundairo, who trained with Portable, expressed confidence in the 29-year-old's strength and potential for victory, affirming Portable's capability to emerge triumphant in the impending bout.
